The location, extent, means of execution of the interventions are described in the “Specific Intervention Plan”, the preparation of which is foreseen among the project preparation activities.

This plan, drawn up by a pool of experts with different skills provides an accurate description of the site, identifying the most significant biotopes present and highlighting the characteristics and protection requirements, and describes in detail the extraordinary interventions required to restore the best ecological conditions (fencing off of the areas requiring intervention or no disturbance, control of the progress of the reedbeds and woods, small hydraulic works, rehabilitation of situations of hydro-geologic and landscaping damage), defines the ordinary management requirements for the site in terms of cutting practices and wood expansion control.

The plan is supported by maps showing the distribution of the naturalistic and fauna habitats and the location of the interventions.

The experts on the Scientific Committee appointed to assist the beneficiary in the management of the project draw up a “Monitoring Plan” in which the appropriate indicators for describing the state of conservation of the habitats are identified, and the project evolution is measured and its results quantified, the frequency of the surveying of the required data, the location of the monitoring stations, the data collection and processing methods. The outcome of the monitoring activities is described in annual reports.
