“Danta 2004” is a project implemented by the Municipality of Danta di Cadore (BL) and co-financed by the European Commission as part of the LIFE Natura Programme.

The aim of the project is to safeguard the integrity of the Danta di Cadore peat bogs through the implementation of specific interventions for the rehabilitation and management of the natural habitats present in the area.

Financial contributions to the project have been made by the Veneto Region, the Mountain Communities of Comelico and Sappada, and the Fondazione Cariverona.
